Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Follow-Up Clinic

Infants discharged from the NICU require intensive and specialized follow-up care to ensure the baby develops properly. The NICU Follow-Up Clinic at Children's Village tracks infants in the first 18 months of their life so that if any problems, issues, or concerns are identified, the family can then receive supportive services as quickly as possible. Babies and their parents are seen at regular intervals in their first year to assess growth and development. Often, a nurse practitioner and physical therapist assess the child as needed.

If you have a concern about your child's development, talk to your primary care physician about a referral or start by taking this simple online developmental evaluation or call Children's Village at (509) 574-3200 or 1-800-745-1077.
